Unnamed Chinese Man Reportedly Lynched in Tekoa

Sometime in 1888, an unnamed Chinese man was reportedly lynched in Tekoa, Washington Territory. No linked contemporary newspaper account has yet been located, and the surviving record preserves almost nothing about the accusation, the mob, or any official response. Even so, the case stands as a thin but important trace of anti-Chinese violence in eastern Washington during the purge era.
